Any Firefighting equipment is arguably the most useful piece of machine but it is undeniably one of the most expensive ones too, considering that fact that they will be used in cases of emergencies. You would be advised to get an inspection done on a regular basis, like every month or twice in three months time. Upkeep sounds similar, but is a very thorough check of the equipment, and it includes a lot of other detail. A lot of different things like repairing a part of this process.


Monthly checking of the equipment makes sure that your extinguisher is in a working state, and if it isn't then you get to know that it is time to replace it. There are a few factors which affect the working at times, and these are very important and must be kept in mind while examining the equipment. Out of these, the height at which the equipment is kept and the temperature of the room are amongst the major deciding ones. You should also keep in mind that they should not obstruct the way of people and should be kept in a place from where they can be easily accessed
